Wyatt Was born on August 2 he was 7 lb 14 oz, and 20 in long. I know that it is really pathetic that he is 2 1/2 months before I ever put him on our blog, but the fact is I have been having so much fun being with him, I just havent gotten to it, so I am just going to show you a bunch of pictures of him. At his last appointment he was 14lb 4 oz and 25.5 in. he is growing like a crazy weed. he has huge hands and huge feet. People joke that he is going to be in the NBA or NFL. Personally i would just prefer he grow up to be a great man, no need to be famous. He is the best!!! I am sure we are a bit partial, but we think he is pretty great. Ever night when Iput him to bed Ijust have to tell him thanks for being my baby. Thanks for choosing me to be your mom. I will try my best to be a good one. Well get ready to see the cutest baby ever!!

Ignore my stupid face, i was in shock, but look at the hands on that boy!! Jayce is a very proud daddy. He doesnt really know what do do with poop but run the other way, but he is excited for wyatt to grow up and be his little shadow.

This was our first night home, which I think was the longest of my life, well I guess except for the previous night of labor. Anyhow after that night luckily Wyatt settled into a nice sleep routine, and now he sleeps all night. in fact last night he slept 12.5 hours. geez

Well it has been a long long time since I updated our blog, and since I am over 40 weeks pregnant with no sign of an end, here I am updating our blog. This is what we have been doing...

We are having a baby boy! His due date was yesterday, and he is not at all interested in coming out. I have tried everything to get the labor going except castor oil which just sounds like a good way to earn a full time seat on the toilet. so...we wait!!

This is at about 38 weeks. Thankfully I am not too huge or this overdue thing would be much worse (for the record though, it still is driving me crazy.) Everyone teases Jayce that he is carrying a baby too, but honestly he hasnt even gained weight with me. But he sure can make his stomach stick out pretty far.

This is the second thing that has kept us very busy. hahahahaha every time I look at these pictures I just have to laugh. Since we are adding to our family, we decided that our 5th wheel would no longer be big enough, so we set out to find something bigger. We decided to buy a single wide trailor, fix it up, and continue to save for a house. We started looking in the paper and saw an advertisment for a trailor in Ft. Thomas, so we went to investigate. The owner said it had slight water damage. That was a joke. When we saw it, we just had to laugh. it had a 16 ft hole in the side where there used to be a sun room, and with all of the rain, the ceiling and the floor was ruined. We left probably not thinking that we would ever consider it, but Jayce is quite the bargainer, and he figured that if we could get it for really cheap, then we could fix it up and still not spend much. Well thanks to Jayce's bartering skills he learned in mexico he talked the guy down to $1,700.00. hahaha Well most would think we were pretty crazy. Maybe we were, but we figured what the heck and bought it. When we brought it home, Jayce's dad said "what in world did you let him bring home that pile of junk for." It was ugly and nasty, but we were going to make it ours. Well now I will show you some before and after pictures. If you came to visit, it would be nice enough, but you cant fully appreciate it unless you have seen what it looked like before. BUT... before all that I need to give thanks to Jayce for being able to fix just about anything he puts his mind to. And I want to thank our family for all of the help. We had help cleaning it when it was gross and full of weavels, we had help painting, and the biggest help of all was from my wonderful dad and brothers. They took two weekends to come and fix "the hole". We couldnt have done it without all the help and we really appreciate it. We have a great great family. Thanks guys!!!!!!

This is our room. It was full or random doors and things and the toilet was NASTY!! Dont worry I didnt attempt to clean it, we threw it out.

This is the Kitchen, it was the worst thing to clean in the whole house. all the other gross things like the toilets and the carpet, be just threw out, but the previous owners had left food in the cupboards and they were full of weavels. I'm not talking "oh I have a few weavels in my flour," I am talking I could have filled a bucket with weavels. YUCK!!! I have to give Breton props for helping me clean that out. The fridge and stove work so we kept them, although as you can see Jayce gave the fridge a lovely paint job.

This is the baby's room it was the easiest to re-do, we just mostly had to paint it and there wasnt much water damage. We have an extra bed if anyone wants to come visit!!

Well that is about all of it. we still have some touch up paint to do in the house and then skirt and paint the outside. someday it will be done, but for now it is very nice to have more space. The best part of all is now we can have visitors without having to sit on eachothers laps!!!

Well I just needed to take a sec, and tell everyone that I am married to a pretty great guy, and these pic's prove it. My sister-in-law asked for pic's of my dogs. If anyone has been around my dogs much you know that they are CRazY!!! So attempting to take a pic is pretty tuff. Thankfully my oh so kind husband was willing to sit and be attacked while I tried to snap a good shot. He is a trooper, and I love him.

p.s. he even did the dishes tonight.. woah!! Dont be jealous girls.

Our Place

Alright, well mom has been buggin' me about putting pictures of our place on our blog, so mom these are for you. This place used to belong to a lady named Hattie. She passed away quite a few years back, and her house had been home to alot of rats, bats, and even some skunks (who still like to show their faces every once in a while.) We tore the house down a couple months back and now we are are fighting with the weeds, and we are not winning. We love it here the tree's are great, and there is just something peaceful about being here. For now, we are still living on wheels, but maybe someday we will have a house on a foundation, and no not the trailor!

These are my favorite part about living here. Honestly I am not a pet person, but I have to admit that our pets are pretty funny. We have two dog's Dottie and Dolly. They love to sleep sprawled out on the steps. Are dogs have traveled with us so much that they think that they are just another human. The proof is in the picture below. Dolly loves to sit in the lawn chair outside every chance she gets.

This is our other pet. His name is James. We initially got him (at least we think its a boy) to eat the rats, but come to find out he is pretty fun to have around too. James got his name from James Bond because when we first got him, he did some pretty amazing things that could have cost him some of his nine lives. James isn't like most cats, cause he likes our dogs, and some times he acts like he is one.

One Great Week

Some of my nieces came to visit me for a few days last week, Camaria, Kelsey, Tyra, Hailey, and Paige. We had so much fun. Most people would have thought that Jayce and I were crazy for taking on five girls when we live in a fifth wheel, but we really did have a blast. We just kept the girls busy ALL day to keep them from getting bored. We woke up in the mornings and made Jayce breakfast, then cleaned the house (yes we, the girls were very good at washing the dishes and running the vacuum). After cleaning the house we would all get ready for the day and then start off to our morning activity which included sewing teddy bears and swimming at the river. In the afternoons we went swimming at the pool. I was quite impressed with all of the girls ability to swim. Camaria, Kelsey, Tyra, and me went off the diving board for the first time. Camaria even did a front flip. Quite impressive I must say.

In our spare time, we introduced the girls to the wonderful life on the farm. We took them to get milk and they learned just where milk came from. They were so excited to see all of the cows especially the brand new calves. The thing that they loved most about the dairy was the cotton seed. When we told them that we were going to the cotton seed, they had no idea what to expect, but they had so much fun sliding, digging, and even stuffing their clothes to the top with seed.

All in all i think that the girls had alot of fun. I sure enjoyed having them for the week. I Hope that we will have the opportunty to make many more great memories.

Jayce and I were married in the Snowlfake Az Temple April 18, 2008. We have had alot of fun and a lot of hard times together. We dated three years before he left on his mission to Puebla, Mexico. For two years Jayce served the Lord, and I played the waiting game. Jayce returned from his mission March 10, 2008, and if you can't calculate really fast...that's about five weeks before our wedding. We spent five years waiting and wishing for the day that we could get married, and now here we are, almost a year later. It's funny how you think that if you could only get to a certain point in your life, you would be forever happy, but when you reach that point, you find yourself looking on to another step. I do this alot. I am so happy to be married, Jayce is much kinder to me than I deserve. He is so patient and loving. And then there is me, I am honery and short tempered, and I dont have much patience at all. For the first few months of our marriage, I BEGGED Jayce to let me get pregnant. It took me a few months to convince him, but i finally did. So I got pregnant, no problems, and I thought that my life was set. I thought that I had things pretty much figured out until I went in for my 13 week check up, and found out that our baby had stopped growing. My world stopped...and most days, it still seems to be moving at an extremely slow pace. It is amazing how fast you can fall in love with a child you have never seen. At times I feel really bad because I forget that I have so many things to be grateful for. Its almost like I feel numb, and all I can think about is my loss. Its probably kind of silly I know, but to me I guess its not. I do know that someday (hopefully soon) the Lord will bless us with the opportunity to have children. Elder George Q. Cannon said "God sees not as man sees; he does not willingly afflict his children, and that if he requires them to endure present privation and trial, it is that they may escape greater tribulations which would otherwise inevitably overtake them. If he deprives them of any present blessing, it is that he may bestow upon them greater and more glorious ones by-and-by." I live every day by this hope. I guess we never really know why things happen, but I am sure there is some reasoning for them. In the mean time, there is really so much good in life. I have the GREATEST family ever. I was even fortunate enough to marry into a GREAT family. And my husband is... well he is my Mr. Wonderful. no one else would love me like he does, he is my strength, and he is my love.
